Elmer Yenchi

Elmer Yenchi Elmer Yenchi, 87, of Atlanta, MI, passed away on September 17, 2007 at Medilodge Nursing Home in Hillman, MI. He was born on October 19, 1919 to Michael and Anna (Harnyak) Yenchi. Elmer retired from the City of Clawson Police Department after 25 yrs of service. He was a member of St Francis Catholic Church in Lewiston, MI. He loved photography and hunting. He enjoyed crafting, woodworking, and making Christmas ornaments for family and friends. He love to bake, especially apple pies. Elmer is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 wives, Mary and Julia. Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Yenchi will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St Francis Catholic Church, Lewiston, Fr Raymond Cotter officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the Church from 10:00 until time of service. Interment will take place at Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester, MI.
