Ellen Baker

Mrs. Ellen "Pat" Baker, 71 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at McReynolds Hall in Gaylord on December 29, 2020. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 23, 1949 to the late, Lawrence and Lorraine (Lemay) Briggs. Pat has resided in Hillman for several years and worked as a dispatcher for Montmorency County Sheriff's Department for 38 years. She valued the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and family and will be dearly missed.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Miranda Johnson of Alpena; son, Adam Baker of Hillman; grandchildren, Trinity Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Aiden Johnson, Mason Johnson, Xavier Baker, Winter Baker, Talon Baker, Tavish Baker; sister, Mary Silvernaile of Dimondale; and brother, Daniel (Julie) Briggs of Murray, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lorraine Briggs; and sister, Lorna Briggs.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in celebration of her life at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Green Funeral Home, Hillman. Visitation will take place from noon until time of service.
