Eleanor Peter

Eleanor Joy (Northrop) Peter Mrs. Eleanor Joy (Northrop) Peter, 82 of Vanderbilt, Michigan went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2018 at her home. She was born in Attica, Michigan on January 4, 1936 to Kenneth and Ruth (Gilbert) Northrop. Ellie married Clifford E. Peter on May 9, 1953 and they were blessed with seven children. He preceded her in death in 2006. Formerly of Atlanta, Ellie has resided in Vanderbilt since 2007. She loved traveling with her daughter and bird watching. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. They ask that you cherish her memory and let it live on. She is survived by her children, Diane (Tom) Getty of Columbiaville; Elizabeth (James) Pearson of Menominee; Barbara (David) Hardecker of Clio; Clifford Peter Jr of Tennessee; Charles Peter of Vanderbilt; Robin (Kelly) Ross of Atlanta; Robert (Patti) Peter of Vanderbilt; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy (Gary) Worsley of Lewiston. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Ruth Northrop; husband, Clifford; and brother, Pete Northrop. A graveside service will take place for Mrs. Peter at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Avery Township Cemetery; Atlanta.
