Elaine Senchuk

Mrs. Elaine Senchuk, 75 of Alpena, Michigan died peacefully at MediLodge of Hillman on January 30, 2025. She was born on May 28, 1949 in Alpena, Michigan to the late Edmund and Winnerfred (Dziesinski) Senchuk. She resided in Alpena her entire life where she raised five boys alongside her husband, Jerry Wilke. When they were younger, she was their pack leader for Cub Scouts. Elaine enjoyed cross-stitching, painting ceramics with her mom, knitting, and rag carpets. Most of all, she loved word search puzzles. She adored her pet birds and cared for them for 12 years before it became too difficult. In her later years, she enjoyed playing Sudoku on her phone. Elaine is and will be deeply missed. 

Elaine is remembered by her sons, Robin, Richard, Randall, Rory, and Rudolph Wilke; grandchildren, Tanner, Amber, Whitney, Michael, Roryn, and Samantha; great-grandchildren, River, Noah, Jasmine, Sophia, and Zoey; and siblings, Mary, Ronald, Catherine, and Gerald. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Winnerfred Senchuk; first husband, Jerry Wilke; second husband, Stanley Prevost; and siblings, Dennis, David, Joseph, and Michael.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and the family has chosen to remember Elaine privately at this time.
