Elaine Lafleche

Mrs. Elaine Josephine LaFleche, 92 of Novi, Michigan died peacefully on the early morning of July 14, 2021 at Grace Rae's Place Nursing Home in New Hudson, Michigan.  She was born in Hillman, Michigan to the late, Glenn and Ella (Moran) on October 12, 1928. Elaine was a very dedicated, generous woman, whom took pride in caring for her family. She became a school teacher at a young age. She raised her family while running a party store with her husband. She enjoyed traveling with her family, playing solitaire, puzzles, crosswords and reading. Words cannot truly describe the incredible woman that she was. She will be dearly missed by friends and family.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Gerald LaFleche of Novi; children, Ann LaFleche of Milford; Janet (Randy) LaFleche-Monson of Florida; Larry (Carol) LaFleche of Alpena; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Ella Moran; and sons, Joseph, Kevin, and Keith.

Funeral services for Mrs. LaFleche will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 23, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Hillman; Fr. Jim Siler officiating. Visitation will take place at the church on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow funeral services at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery where Elaine will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations be made to Grace Rae's Place Nursing Home, 30292 Grace Rae Court, New Hudson, Michigan 48165.
