Elaine Dines Mrs. Elaine Dines, 76, of Lewiston, Michigan, died with her children by her side on December 1, 2015. She was born to the late, Harold and Anna (Gastzrita) Grigsby on May 27, 1939 in Garden City, Michigan. Elaine graduated from Lady Wood High School in Livonia. She married Jack Dines on November 1, 1957 and was married for 49 years when he passed. Elaine enjoyed golf, traveling, and bowling, where she sponsored the Jack and Sons team for 35 years. She was a charter member and had perfect attendance for 37 years with the Lewiston Lions Lioness. She owned and operated Jack and Sons with her beloved husband for 40 years. She was a member of Saint Francis Parish and helped with the Lewiston School Mini Relay. Above all, Elaine's greatest joy was spending time with her children and her grandchildren and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her five children, Charles (Rita) Grigsby of Lewiston, MI, Richard (Janet) Dines of Mesa, AZ, Mary Kaye (Jim) Milbocker of Lewiston, MI, Robert (Jodi) Dines of Ann Arbor, MI, and Laura (Mark) Schrader of Lewiston, MI; thirteen grandchildren, Cassandra Mager, Charlie Grigsby, Lisa Grigsby, Harold Grigsby, Amiee Ingebrigten, Amber Dines, Ken Milbocker, Paul Milbocker, Mike Milbocker, Alaini Dines, Emmalia Dines, Faith Bartle, and Alyssa Bartle; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and brothers, Harold Grigsby Sr. and Wayne Grigsby. Funeral services for Mrs. Dines will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; Lewiston, MI; Father San officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Elaine's wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest at St. Francis cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to help offset funeral expenses.
