Edward Charles Willauer Mr. Edward Charles Willauer, 88 of Johannesburg, Michigan died peacefully at his home surrounded by family on August 14, 2018. He was born in Joliet, Illinois on June 11, 1930 the son of the late, John and Edna (Mae) Willauer. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Korean War. Formerly of Ray Township, Michigan, Edward moved to Johannesburg in 1997. He owned and operated Jaxx Tool and Die in Madison Heights for many years. Aside from work, Edward enjoyed golfing, traveling, going to the casino, and taking care of his house, lawn, and garden. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Wendy of Gaylord; daughters, Beth Delicata of Las Vegas, Nevada; Alex Willauer of Gaylord; Sydney Willauer of Lewiston; son, Russell (Mary) Willauer of Dryden; grandchildren, Steven, Jason, Layla, Liliana, Joslyn, and Kaitlyn; and sister, Betty "Gin" (Ronnie) Osborne of Sandusky. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna Willauer; and brothers, Robert and Red. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of Edward's life at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston; Pastor Randy Ferguson officiating. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM until time of service.
