Edward Stockford

Edward Joseph Stockford, age 77, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at his home in Lewiston. Ed was born on March 3, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to parents, Francis and Mildred (Kelsey) Stockford. He loved the outdoors and moved to northern Michigan many years ago. He was self-employed as a roofer and handyman most of his life, but also ran a sawmill in Lewiston for years. As an outdoorsman, he loved to fish and hunt. He will be truly missed by his sisters, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ed is survived by one son, Kenneth (Connie) Stockford; daughters, Kathy Schatilly-Stockford; Theresa VanAllen-Stockford; sisters, Bonnie Carlson, Marilyn (Gerald) Romanowski, Kimberly (Robert) Stack; sister-in-law, Lois Stockford; many special nieces, nephews, and friends, including best friend, Bob Nesky. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Francis and Mildred Stockford; brother, Ronald Stockford; sister, Linda Kirbitz; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Carlson.

Cremation has taken place and there are currently no services planned at this time but may be a memorial held at a later date.
