Edward Olenzek Edward Olenzek, 86, of Atlanta, passed away on December 23, 2008 at Engleharts Care Home. He was born on January 8, 1922 to Francis and Antoinette (Kulaja) Olejniczak in Detroit, MI. He owned and operated a party store in Detroit with his brother for many years. After the party store, he opened a meat distribution business in the Detroit area. Ed was an avid poker player and enjoyed golfing and looking for cars. He liked to take on home remodeling projects and was a great woodworker. Ed always enjoyed helping people. Edward is survived by his wife, Betty, of Atlanta, MI; sons, David of Dallas, TX, Paul (Patricia) of Orion Twp, MI, and Mark (Linda) of Bellevue, MI; daughter, Lynda Olenzek of Sterling Heights, MI; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Virginia) Olenzek of Livonia, MI; and sisters, Lillian Stenzel of Clawson, MI, and Dorothy (Howard) Schultz of New Greenwich, CN. He was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
