Edward Kenneth Normile Mr. Edward Kenneth Normile, 77 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at his home on January 17, 2017. He was born on October 7, 1939 the son of Edward and Dorothy (Detloff) Normile in Detroit, Michigan. He resided in Atlanta for the last 28 years, formerly of Warren. Edward retired from Winter Sausage in East Pointe in 1990 where he worked as a meat processor for most of his life. After his retirement he continued to work and was employed at True Value in Lewiston for the last eight years. He was a member of the Atlanta Eagles Post 4077 and played pool on Wednesday's and shuffleboard on Monday's. Edward loved football and played during high school. He was an avid fan of the University of Michigan. He enjoyed woodworking and was quite the handyman. He could make anything that involved Mickey Mouse. He loved animals and watching the wildlife in his yard, but most importantly, Edward enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving companion, Patti Dumas of Atlanta; daughters, Misty (Brian) Franklin of Traverse City; Kimmie (John) Marroquin of Livonia; Dawn Hoskins of North Carolina; sons, Ronald (Brenda) Hoskins of Maine; Montie (Lindsey Scarantino) Hoskins of Livonia; eight grandchildren; sister, DJ Normile of Atlanta; and brother, Kenneth (Nancy) Normile of Prudenville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy Normile; and brother, Paul. As were his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Atlanta Eagles #4077.
