Edward Lewis Magnant Jr.

 Mr. Edward Lewis Magnant Jr, 82 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at his home on February 16, 2024, surrounded by family. Ed was born in Baraga, Michigan on March 6, 1941, to the late, Edward and Inez (Carlson) Magnant Sr. He married Susan (Andrzejewski-McKernan) Magnant on May 22, 1987, and together the couple celebrated 36 years of marriage before his passing. They have resided in Lewiston for 22 years. Ed enjoyed casino trips with Sue and deep-sea fishing alongside her in The Keys. He loved socializing with friends at Talley’s and playing cards, however; his favorite thing to do was play golf. He is and will be deeply missed.

 Ed is survived by his loving wife, Sue Magnant of Lewiston; children, Chris (Jackie Bess) Magnant of Grand Rapids; Suzanne (Michael) Rutkowski of Howell; Karen Everheart of Sabetha, Kansas; Tanya (Adam) Dushary of Plymouth; Tracy (Mike) Schlotta of Wixom; Trevor (Jessica) Andrzejewski of Pickney; grandchildren, Kaylen, Bradley, Jessica, Matthew, Patrick, Alex, Kyleigh, Jackson, Tyler, Raelyn, Easton, Chloe, Paige, Houston, Wyatt, and Chance; great-grandchildren, Bella, Harper, and Araelia; mother-in-law, Shirley McKernan of Clinton Township; sisters-in-law, Diane (Scott Miller) Brune of Cape Coral, Florida; Colleen (Billy) Cardella of Chesterfield Township; brother-in-law, Tim McKernan of Henderson, Nevada; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Inez Magnant Sr, sister, Barbara; and baby son, Edward.

 In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Ed privately at this time.
