Dorothy Adeline Wolter Dorothy Adeline Wolter, 86, of St Ignace, MI passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2008. She was born on May 3, 1922 to Robert and Jessie (Leach) Elliot in Romeo, MI. Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper, a factory employee during the war, and also owned and operated a family farm for years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmoutther. She lived in St Ignace, MI for the past 20 yrs, leaving behind many friends and church family. Dorothy is survived by her son, Edmund (Claudia) Wolter of Atlanta, MI; daughters, Shirley Pazik of Howell, MI, and Helen Thompson of St Ignace, MI; grandchildren, Roger and Mike Pazik, Darren and Brandon Wolter, Timothy (Kelly) Stevens, and Richard (Jessie) and Alan Klein; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 20 step grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Lawrence, and infant daughter, Barbara Jean Lawwrence; second husband, Leo Wolter; and son in laws, Roger Pazik and Benjamin Thompson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 11, 2008 at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI, Pastor Tom Penner from Straits Envangelical Free Church in St Ignace officiating. Interment will take place in Montmorency Twp Cemetery.
