Dorothy Werner

Dorothy Elizabeth Werner Mrs Dorothy Elizabeth Werner, 88, of Hillman, MI, passed away on May 2, 2014 at Medilodge. She was born on June 3, 1925 to John and Anna (Trogan) Weiland in Montmorency Twp, and lived in the Hillman area her entire life. She married August Werner on April 6, 1945 in Hillman. She was a member of St John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, and used to enjoy gardening. She loved taking walks with her son in the outdoors. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Leonard of Hillman, Carl of Kansas, and Ervin of Omer, MI; daughters, Betty (Kevin) Cronkright of Iron River, MI, and Ruth (Jessie) McFadden of Omer, MI; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, August; and a son, Kenneth. Graveside services for Mrs. Werner will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the St John's Lutheran Cemetery, Royston, MI, Pastor Jason Mandley officiating3
