Dorothy Lange

Dorothy Lange Dorothy Lange, 92, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 3, 1919 to Charlie and Lela (Roach) Grugett in Hardin, KY. She married Herbert Lange on June 26, 1948 in Detroit, MI. During WWII, she was a "Rosie the Riveter" building for our war efforts. She has lived in Lewiston since 1980, having had a cottage there since the 70's. She was a member of the Gab Girl Club in Johannesburg. She loved treasure hunting with her metal detector, was an avid reader, and enjoyed crocheting for charity. Dorothy is survived by her son, Kevin Lange of Ladson, SC; daughter-in-law, Mary Lange of FL; grandson, Joe; three great grandchildren, Charlie, Samantha, and Allison; and sister, Alice Marshall of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services for Mrs Lange planned at this time.

As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services for Mrs Lange planned at this time.
