Dorine A. Barnett Dorine A Barnett, 75 of Atlanta passed away suddenly Friday morning, April 20, 2007 at Northern Michigan Hospital following a short illness. Dorine was born August 24, 1931 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was an active member of the Atlanta and Lewiston Community, she was a member and president for more than eight years of the Lewiston VFW Auxiliary, she was a member and past treasurer of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and for many years was the Treasurer of the Montmorency County Commission on Aging, and a member of the Atlanta Bible Church. Dorine is survived by loving companion Jack Hemry, son Larry (Annie) Barnett of Sturgis, SD, Allan Barnett of Silverwood, MI, and Eric Barnett of Sand Pointe, Idaho, daughters Sandra (Dave) Nedrow of Almont, MI and Brenda (Marvin) VanThomme of Washington, MI, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and half sister Hattie Horter of Kent City, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, and son Stanley, who die in Vietnam, and her mother, Vada Marsh. Cremation has taken place and Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 22, 2007 from the Green Funeral Home, Pastor Roger Steele officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Atlanta Bible Church.
