Doreen Belangie

Doreen E. Belangie Doreen Ellen Belangie, 74, of Atlanta, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2007 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. She was born on November 26, 1932 to John and Florence (Farmer) Lyall in Detroit, MI. She married Earl Belangie on May 29, 1968 in Toledo, OH. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta. She loved watching TV, especially the old movies. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach. She also loved her dogs, flowers, and gardening. Doreen is survived by her husband, Earl, of Atlanta, MI; son, Stan (Bev) Pirozek of Kingsley, MI, and Russell Pirozek of Oxford, MI; daughters, Pam Vardas of Westland, MI, Sarah (Dan) Wager of Bellaire, MI, and Lyn (John) Webb of Livonia, MI; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Derrick (Candy) Lyall of Livonia, MI, and David Lyall of Westland, MI; and a sister, Freida Brandon of Forest, Ontario. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Caroline Belangie. Graveside services for Mrs Belangie will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Park View Cemetery in Livonia, MI. Visitation hours will be held from 3-9 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI, with a prayer service at 8:00 p.m., Pastor Kim Johnson officiating.
