Donna Valentine

Donna Ruth Valentine Donna Ruth Valentine, 49, of Atlanta, passed away suddenly on August 6, 2008 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. She was born on July 14, 1959 to Harold and Mary (Johnson) Rice in Onaway, MI. She lived in the Atlanta area most of her life, graduating from Atlanta High School in 1977. She married Wayne Valentine on Oct 1, 1983 at Big Rock Congregational Church. Donna enjoyed taking rides in the car to watch the deer and elk, trips to the casino, and making crafts, especially at Christmas time. She liked bonfires and cooking outside. Above all else, her family always came first. Donna is survived by her husband, Wayne of Atlanta; son, Andy (Amanda) Valentine of Hillman, MI; daughter, Angela Valentine of Atlanta, MI; mother, Mary Rice of Gaylord, MI(; sisters, Debbie (Dave) Gouin and Linda (William) Navara both of Atlanta, MI, Lisa (Mitchell) Buschbacher of Gaylord, MI, Julie (Steve) Berlinski of Mendon, MI, and Cindy (Ismeal) Chang of Plymouth, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Rice, and a brother, Richard. Funeral services were held on Friday, August 8, 2008 at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI, Pastor Roger Steele officiating. Interment took place at the Briley Twp Cemetery.
