Donna Shepherd

Donna Jean Shepherd Donna Jean Shepherd, 51, of Fenton, MI, formerly of Lewiston and Hillman, passed away on January 20, 2009 at the Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich, MI. She was born on November 9, 1957 to Frederick Jr and Catherine (Banks) Shepherd in Alpena, MI. She has lived in Fenton since February of last year. Donna served as a volunteer fire fighter for Greenwood Twp Fire Department. She cooked and managed the kitchen at the Iron Kettle for many years. Above all else, she loved taking care of her children. Donna is survived by her sons, Mark Williams of Fenton, MI, and Todd E. (Jami) Dodge of Onstead, MI; daughters, Michelle (Brian) Knoch of Fenton, MI, and Jammie (Kenneth) O'Brien of Woodbury, NJ; 4 grandchildren; and brothers, Fred (Tina) Shepherd of Blissfield, MI, and Paul (Patty) Shepherd of Adrian, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Catherine; grandmother, Amy Banks; sister, Kathy Craft, and niece, Angela Shepherd. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Ms. Shepherd will be held at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI on Friday, January 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM, Pastor Mario Sanchez, Pastor Barron Thomson, and Pastor Joey officiating.
