Mr. Donald Bernard Jacob, 87 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on March 19, 2019 at his home. He was born in Center Line, Michigan on January 14, 1932 to the late, Edward and Matilda Jacob. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Formerly of Saginaw, he has resided in Lewiston for the last 18 years. Previous to moving, he worked as a salesman for the Monroe Calculating Machine Company in both Saginaw and Wisconsin for 15 years. He enjoyed to watch television and to go hunting. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by sons, Rick (April) Wilde of Lewiston; Jim Wilde of Saginaw; granddaughter, Danielle Wilde of Saginaw; brothers, Teddy (Sandy) Jacob or Sterling Heights; Billy Jacob of Warren; and sisters, Nancy Jacob and Helen Jacob both of Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Matilda Jacob.
As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service held in celebration of his life at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Lewiston at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 23, 2019.
