Donald Gilson

Donald Delmar Gilson Mr. Donald Delmar Gilson, 66, of Hillman, Michigan died on January 15, 2016 at Medilodge of Hillman. He was born on February 8, 1949 to Albert and Alice (Mallory) Gilson in Belleville, Michigan. Don has lived in the Atlanta and Hillman areas for the past thirty years. He attended the Hillman United Methodist Church with his late wife, Loretta. He worked at Wayne Wire for ten years. Don loved to hunt and fish, and was an avid backyard mechanic for many years. Donald is survived by his daughter, Sandra Gilson of Holly; sons, Brian of Belleville; Jeff (Tonya) of Westland; Donald Gilson II of Taylor; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby (Glenda) Gilson of Lewiston; and sister, Diane Hall of Belleville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta; brother, Bill; and sisters, Donna Arney and Florence Gilson. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are currently no services planned for Mr. Gilson at this time.
