Donald Lee Bouchey Mr. Donald Lee Bouchey, 76 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully on April 21, 2015 at MediLodge of Hillman. He was born to the late, Fred and Grace (Benac) Bouchey on September 1, 1938 in Green Township, Michigan. Don lived downstate for 12 years in Lake Orion, but lived most of his life in the Hillman area. He was the owner operator of the Pickwick House Restaurant for 11 years and the owner of D n B. Lawn Care Maintenance in Hillman for 20 years. He drove truck for Cordes Excavating for 20 years as well. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Don was an outdoorsman and loved his travels to Alaska and Europe. He enjoyed camping and hunting; especially deer, and had his own hunting camp named "Island Mill" that he owned with his brothers. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Bouchey; stepdaughter, Cindy Steacy; brothers, Gary (Gloria) Bouchey; Tom (Rose) Bouchey; and sister, Karen Rea all of Hillman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Grace Bouchey; and first wife, Ann. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial mass held in celebration of his life Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the St Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church. Visitation and rosary service provided by the Knights of Columbus will take place on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the church. Interment will take place at St Augustine Catholic Cemetery.
