Donald Thomas Ball, Jr. Donald Thomas Ball Jr., 59, of Lewiston passed away on January 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on June 13, 1955 in Flint, MI, the son of Donald Sr and Barbara (Douglass) Ball. He married the former Judy Morley on February 11, 1978. Don served his country in the United States Marine Corps stationed out of Camp Lejeune. He has lived in Lewiston for the past 25 years, formerly of Port Huron, MI. He has worked as a Lease Operator for over 15 years, currently employed by Linn Energy. Don loved hunting, especially for deer. He used to make hanging stained glass decorations for family and friends. Above all else, Don was a wonderful husband, father, and grandpa. He dearly loved time spent with his grandchildren.
Don is survived by his wife, Judy of Lewiston, MI; son, Don III (Jessica) Ball of Lewiston; grandchildren, Hayden, Donnovan, Kendall, and Easton; parents, Donald Sr. and Barbara Ball of Lewiston, MI; brothers, Clarence (Pat) Ball of Davison, MI, Ronald (Dawn) Ball of Lewiston, MI, and Kevin (Dawn) Ball of Kalkaska, MI; sister, Lori (Don) Padgitt of Lewiston, MI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Ball.
Funeral services for Mr. Ball will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Green Funeral Home; Lewiston, Michigan; Pastor Debbie Voight officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
