Donald Edward Allard Donald Edward Allard, 83, of Hillman, formerly of China Twp, MI, passed away at Medilodge Nursing Home on Monday, March 24, 2008. He was born on July 26, 1924 to Edward and Theresa (Trombley) Allard in Grosse Pointe, MI. He was married to the former, Ethel Roussin who preceded him in death in 1990. Donald served his country in the US Army during WWII. He enjoyed landscaping and painting. He was an avid reader, especially books about WWII planes. He spent most of his life as a self-employed carpet layer. Donald is survived by his sons, Ronald (Dianne) of Hillman, MI, Gary (Julie) of Ohio, and Robbie Allard of Warren, MI; daughter, Tammie Allard of Riley, MI; 6 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI, Visitation hours will be held on Thursday from 11:00 until time of service.
