Dolores Thackeray

Dolores Thackeray Dolores Thackeray, age 85 of Atlanta, passed away February 10, 2018. Dolores was born October 11, 1932. She was married to James (Zack) Thackeray for 46 years. He preceded her in death in 1996. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Howard and Irene (Buczkowski) Poikey, and a brother, Larry. Dolores worked at Essex Wire, Lewiston Lustre, and in her younger years, Vlasic Pickle and BCBS. She is survived by a son, James Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter Terri (Reid) Valentine of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Joy (Dale) Mink, Brian (Linette) Valentine - all of Atlanta, Michael Thackeray of Lansing, MI, and Kay Cee (Dave) LaValle of Summerville, SC; and six great-grandchildren. As were her wishes, no services are planned.
