Diane Emily Vandercook Diane Emily Vandercook, 65, of Atlanta, MI, died on August 30, 2015 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born on September 18, 1949 to Donald and Louise (Schier) Anderson in Detroit, MI. She married Sabin Vandercook on June 9, 1969 in Garden City, MI. She has lived in Atlanta for the past 15 years formerly of Westland, MI. She owned and operated Diane's Family Diner in Novi, and also Village BBQ in Wixom. Diane was an amazing cook. She was a past member of the Atlanta Eagles. Above all else, she loved taking care of her children and grandchildren, she was a true "Mother Hen". Diane is survived by her husband, Sabin of Atlanta, MI; daughters, Tammy (Kevin) Jarvis of Westland, MI, and Delisa (Jeff) Foltz of Atlanta; grandchildren TJ, Ryan, and Joseph; great grandchildren, Aubrey and Bentley; brothers, Jack (Sharon) Anderson of Atlanta, MI, and Raymond and Donny Anderson; sisters, Bev Trelor of Atlanta, MI, Jan (Joseph) Spencer of Clinton, MI, and Tina Wayne of Westland, MI. As were her wishes cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs Vandercook at this time.
