Dennis Armstrong

Dennis E. Armstrong Dennis E. Armstrong, 78 of Lewiston passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. Dennis was born March 10 1928 in Detroit the son of Luther and (Hazel) Liethbreu Armstrong. Dennis graduated from Atlanta High School in 1947 and joined the U S Army. When returned from service he worked more than 34 years in the meter department for Detroit Edison. When he retired in 1984 he and his wife, the former Dorothy King whom he married June 5, 1948 in Lewiston, returned to Lewiston While retired in Lewiston Dennis has been an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the Lewiston Mushroom Club, VFW Post 6335, American Legion Post 198 and the Little Wolfe Lake Association. Dennis is survived by his wife Dorothy, brother Bob (Marcia) Armstrong, sister in law Eleanor Braun both of Lewiston, nephews Christopher (Bonnie) Armstrong of Avon Lake, OH, Daniel (Mariah) Armstrong of Puget Sound, WA, Dennis (Susan) Armstrong of Seattle, WA, Ronald (Braun) of Livonia, Karl (Kaye) Braun Flushing, MI, Tom (Sue) Hagle of Bisbee, AZ and Fred (Barbara) King of Atlanta, MI, nieces Karen (Dan) Jensen of Loudon, TN, Judy (John) Nagy of Highland, MI, Cheryl Morang of Armada, Mi and Neila King of Lewiston, great nephews Zachary, and Jim King, Michael LaMar, Paul and David Nagy, Mark Jensen, Charles and Austin Hagle and Aaron Armstrong, great nieces Shawn Grose, Jennifer King, Amanda Morang, Heide Rick, Emily Hagle, Julie, Terra and Rachael Armstrong, lifetime friends Gene (Donna), Daryl, and James McDonald, and Marlene Hunter, and dear pets Max and Estee Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 12, 2007 from Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pastor Robert W Butler officiating. Burial will be in Albert Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 PM Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 12, 2007 from Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pastor Robert W Butler officiating. Burial will be in Albert Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 PM Sunday.
