David Arnold Kuhl Mr. David Arnold Kuhl, age 68, of Hillman, Michigan died on April 3, 2015 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. He was born in Pigeon, Michigan to the late, Arnold "Arnie" and Goldie (Cullen) Kuhl on December 5, 1946. David moved to Hillman in 1994, formerly of the Davisburg/Waterford area, and originally from Sebewaing. He worked as a mechanic in Pontiac at the GM plant and retired at the age of 48 years after serving for 30. He was a member of the Atlanta Eagles, UAW Retired Workers Association, and an Ouga club member. David had various hobbies that included cars, hunting, fishing, and Friday nights at the Elbo-Inn. What he most enjoyed was being a practical joker and had a vast array of gadgets he would use for his pranking. People around town knew him as the "mayor of Jonesville." He loved being with family and friends and could be found on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday of each week at the local transfer site where he and his friends would gather to visit. Dave will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by daughters, Tracy (Rick) Conquergood of Harbor Beach and Monica (Rudy) Pulido of Huntington Beach, California; sons, Chad (Michelle Ruegsegger) Kuhl of Waterford and David (Rachel Mersino) Kuhl of Dearborn; grandchildren, Kaman Kuhl, Bryce Kuhl, Jax Mersino, Francesca Pulido, and Hannah Pulido; brother, Max Paul Morey of Detroit; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnie and Goldie Kuhl; brother, Barry Kuhl; and sister, Joyce Elaine Kuhl. Funeral services for Mr. Kuhl will take place at noon on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Atlanta Bible Church; Atlanta, Michigan; Pastor Roger Steele officiating. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
