David M. Hancock David M. Hancock, 59, of Atlanta, MI, passed away on July 19, 2010 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1951 to Robert and Patricia (Miller) Hancock in Pontiac, MI. He married Pauline McKnight on June 30, 1973 in Dearborn, MI. He has lived in Atlanta for the past 10 yrs, having loved visiting here as a child. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and tinkering with his bus. He was an animal lover, he enjoyed his pets, horses, and supporting the Elk Country Animal Shelter. He was very helpful and caring to everyone, always willing to give his time to others. David is survived by his wife, Pauline, son, David (Reesa) Hancock of Clifton Park, NY; daughter, Amy Hancock of Killeen, TX; grandchildren, Tyler, David, Lewis, and Nicholas; sisters, Cathy, Jo Anne, and Maryanne; deceased brother, Bill Hancock; sister and brother in laws, Danny, Robert, Jackie, Maryann, Kathy, and Nancy; and many very special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews that he dearly loved . He was preceded in death by his mother in law, Aggie, whom he was very close to and we take comfort in knowing they are now side by side watching over us. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mr Hancock will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI. Memorials have been suggested to the Elk Country Animal Shelter, one of his deep passions.
