David Edward Daniels

David Edward Daniels, 76 years old, died November 21, 2024 at home after a lengthy illness with both sisters by his side. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 25, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Enid (Saner) Daniels of Detroit. Dave served his country proudly in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He lived in Hillman and enjoyed biking and walking to town in past years. He was mildly autistic and was often misunderstood by most people. He liked to paint pictures and listen to music. Dave was a 6’3’ loving, gentle giant, sensitive with a kind heart and was generous with whatever he had. Dave was a Christian and is now with our Lord in Paradise.

Dave is remembered by his siblings; sisters, Cathy Daniels, Ginger Battle, Marie (Rick) Dlugosielski, Patricia Dixon with niece, April Dixon of Canada; and brother Jim Daniels with nephew, Shawn Daniels and sons, Tanner and David; nephew, Chris (Tammy) Duff and their children and numerous cousins of Detroit. 

The family has chosen to remember Dave privately at this time.
