David Carpenter

David Wayne Carpenter Mr. David Wayne Carpenter, 71of Houghton Lake, Michigan, formerly of Lewiston, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 19, 2018. He was born in Flushing, Michigan to the late, Eugene and Mildred (Morse) Carpenter on February 26, 1946. David worked as a truck driver for 30 years and was an independent driver most of the time and would haul almost anything, anywhere. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed to go fishing anywhere where there was water, especially McCormick Lake. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Judy Reeb; brothers, Dick Carpenter of Flint; Tom (Donna) Carpenter of Cheboygan; Gary (Sherry) Carpenter of Lake; sister, Phyllis (Ron) Johnson of Finley, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Mildred Carpenter; brother, Jim; and sister, Signe Cowden. Funeral services for Mr. Carpenter will take place at 11:00AM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Green Funeral Home; Lewiston. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 2:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Friday from 10:00AM until time of service.
