David Belanger

David William Belanger Mr. David William Belanger, 67 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on the morning of March 11, 2014. He was born to the late, Samuel and Virginia (Beahm) Belanger in Providence, Rhode Island on October 21, 1946. He married wife, Diana (Rikli) Belanger in Ypsilanti on December 5, 1977 and together they celebrated 36 years of marriage before his passing. The couple moved to Lewiston in 2012, formerly of Lake Louise in Johannesburg. David enjoyed collecting knives, coins, and guns. He also enjoyed to hunt and fish and shot a duck in 2011. Above everything, he enjoyed to be with his family and friends and will be forever missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Belanger of Lewiston; sons, David Belanger of Dexter; Steven Belanger of Ann Arbor; Dennis Belanger of Ann Arbor; daughters, Tammy Crouch of Mancelona; Erica (Kenny) Herd of Lewiston; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren with two on the way; brother, Frederic (Barb) Belanger of Connecticut; and sister, Betty DiBiasio of Rhode Island. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Virginia Belanger; and daughter, Penny. Memorial services for Mr. Belanger will take place at 3:00PM on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Green Funeral Home; Lewiston, Michigan; Pastor David Hill officiating. Visitation will take place from 2:00PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Belanger family to help with funeral costs.
