Mr. Danny Duane Burtch, 71 of Lewiston, Michigan died on December 18, 2021 at Munson Healthcare Center in Traverse City from complications of COVID-19. He was born in West Branch, Michigan on March 12, 1950 to the late, Henry Duane and Nina Eileen (Vincent) Burtch. In Las Vegas, Nevada on September 2, 1992 he married his wife, Janice (Ogilvy) Burtch and together the couple celebrated 29 years of marriage before his passing. Danny was the president of the 50+ Club in Lewiston and an active volunteer anywhere help was needed. He had a big heart and he loved his community and its seniors. He enjoyed helping people, taking trips to the casino, the game of Euchre, the Michigan State Spartans, and his  numerous cats both feral and indoor. His biggest love, however; was Janice of whom he leaves with countless memories and bounties of love.

Danny is survived by his wife, Janice Burtch; daughter, Rebecca (James); grandchildren, Maddie, Caleb, Harlie, Levi, and Merci; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Eileen; and daughter, Randi.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service held in celebration of Danny’s life from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the 50+ Club in Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the 50+ Club or SCAT of Albert Township.
