Dannie Eugene Stratton Mr. Dannie Eugene Stratton, 62 of Johannesburg, MI passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2011. He was born to Eugene and Juanita (Webb) Stratton on December 6, 1948 in Banner, KY. He married Belinda Vanover on May 16, 1986 in Ypsilanti and they shared twenty-five wonderful years together. He retired from General Motors in 1999. He was a member of the Lewiston Moose Lodge and the American Legion Post 198. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood, and playing cards. Above everything, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. He is survived by loving wife, Belinda Stratton of Johannesburg, MI; daughters, Lisa (Rick) Byrd of Adrian, MI; Sheila (Bill) Norton of Brooklyn, MI; son, Danny Stratton of Kansas City, MO; stepchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) Humbargar of Romulus, MI; Jeremy (Kelli) Smith of Charlotte, NC; sixteen grandchildren; sisters, Linda (Kenneth) Burchette of Prestonburg, KY; Lena (Gary) Brown of Martin, KY; and brother, Freddie Stratton of Prestonburg, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Juanita, as well as a brother, Eddie. Funeral services for Mr. Stratton will be held on November 17, 2011 at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI, Pastor Toby Stadden officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home.
