Dale Michael Smith Dale Michael Smith, 68, of Atlanta, Michigan, passed away at his residence on June 14, 2017. He was born on November 12, 1948 to Paul and Zelma (Goyette) Smith in Pontiac, Michigan. He has lived in Atlanta for the past thirteen years, formerly of Waterford, Michigan. He retired from General Motors after 30+ years our of the Drayton Plains SPO. He was a member of the Michigan Sheriff's Association and was an avid fisherman. Dale was anything and everything to all that knew him and was a generous friend to everyone. Dale is survived by his daughters, Stacia Smith of Waterford; and Seneca Anderson of Prescott, MI; grandhcildren, Mackenzie, Jeff, Raven, Xavier, Ben, and Sophia; brother, Craig Smith of Hillman, MI; and sisters, Paula Liford of Mesa, AZ, and Debbie (Chuck) Moll of Shelby Township, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Zelma; and his wife, Bethany. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there are no services planned for Mr Smith at this time.
