Dale Keith Ledger

Mr. Dale Keith Ledger, 88 of Hillman, Michigan died suddenly on April 9, 2024. He was born in Iron River, Michigan to the late William and Esther (Karvala) Ledger on January 28, 1936. Dale grew up in Lake Orion. He served his country proudly in the United States Army 2^nd Battle Group 39^th infantry. He married Shirley (School) Ledger and helped to raise her two children. Dale was a vintage snowmobile collector and racer. He loved both riding and fixing old snowmobiles. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dale is and will be deeply missed.

 He is survived by his daughter, Lori (Daniel) Winters; stepdaughter, Kimberly Sutherby-Lewis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and ex-wife, Shirley Schook-Ledger. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Esther Ledger; son, Brian Ledger; and stepson, Richard Sutherby. 

 In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember him privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dale’s memory to Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum, W11660 US-2, Naubinway, Michigan 49762.
