Claude White

Claude White Claude B White, 84, of Hillman, passed away on November 8, 2007. He was born on April 2, 1923 in Howell, MI to Byron and Fern (Williams) White. He married the former Barbara Wietzke on September 12, 1941 in Northfield Twp, MI. Claude served his country during WWII. He retired from American Aggregate as a dredge operator for 25 yrs. He attended the Lutheran Church throughout his life. Claude is survived by his sons, Jim (Carol) White of Hillman, MI, and Donald White of Mt Pleasant, MI; daughter, Catherine (Peter) Mitchell of Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Lyle White of Detroit, MI; and sisters, Barbara Jean (Raymond) McDowell of Remus, MI, and Judy (Mike) Hodgins of Rutherfordton, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2005. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI, Pastor Jason Mandley officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Howell, MI on Wednesday.
