Cheryl Anne Nickert-Keyser Cheryl Anne Nickert-Keyser, 54 of Lewiston, MI passed away tragically on July 23, 2011 in Mio, MI. She was born to Gordon and Bonnie (Cargill) Nickert on September 7, 1956 in Detroit, MI. She resided in Lewiston most of her life. As a teenager, Cheryl worked at various places including, Putnam Green House, McDonalds, Meijers, and Glens Markets for ten years. She was a great cook and loved to bake and decorate cakes, her favorite being carrot cake. She enjoyed camping, bowling, euchre, and playing softball. She also sold Jafra cosmetics. Above anything, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her father, Gordon Nickert of Lewiston, MI; mother, Bonnie Nickert of Oak Park, MI; brothers, Jamie Nickert of Lewiston, MI; Jeff (Linda) Nickert of Grayling, MI; Gordon Nickert Jr of Jackson, MI; Michael (Sherry) Nickert of Lewiston, MI; Karl (Michelle) Nickert of Lewiston, MI; Jack Nickert of Oak Park, MI; sisters, Kimberly Weiland and Denise (Daniel) Roux all of Lewiston, MI; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ms. Nickert-Keyser will be held on July 27, 2011 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lewiston, MI, Pastor Steven Thiel officiating. Visitation will take place at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI on July 26, 2011 from 5-8pm. Interment will take place at Albert Twp Cemetery.
