Chase Covington

Chase L. Covington Chase L. Covington or Hillman, MI passed away Monday, November 13, 2006 at DeVos Children's Hospital of injuries suffered in a house fire at his residence. Chase was born February 29, 1992 in Alpena the son of Kasey Covington and Adrian Crawford. Chase was currently a freshman at Hillman High School where he was a member of the golf and basketball teams and a member of the band. Chase also enjoyed dirt bike riding, hunting and fishing. Chase is survived by his mother Kasey Shiffer, his father Adrian (Kim) Crawford, brother Caleb Shiffer, sisters Hanna and Emmie Crawford and Darian Klein all of Hillman, grandparents Jan Covington and Lavon James of Hillman and Robert and Janice Crawford and Duane and Geraldine Gay all of Lachine, and great grandparents June Terry, Virgie James and Betty Crawford all of Hillman Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday at the Hillman Community Center, Rev Jack Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Hillman Rust Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 PM on Thursday at the Community Center. Memorials are suggested to the Hillman High School Band c/o Hillman High School.
