Mr. Charles "Chuck" Edward Perry, 79 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at his home on the early morning of December 20, 2019 with his loving wife and family at his side. He was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on April 28, 1940 to the late, Charles and Alice (Lingenfelter) Perry. He married his wife, Patricia (Werner) Perry on September 14, 1961 in Jackson, Michigan and together the couple celebrated 58 years of marriage before his passing. Formerly of Southgate, the couple have resided in Lewiston since 1996. Chuck retired as a millwright in 1994 after 30+ years. He was a true jack of all trades and built his own home. He loved to cut wood and enjoyed welding and stained glass. He even built his own log elevator to put his wood up. He loved life and the time he spent with family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Perry of Lewiston; sons, Charles (Sue) Perry of Riverview; Luke (Andrea) Perry of Battle Creek; daughter, Cheryl (Jeff) Murzin of Taylor; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alice Perry; and son, Matthew Paul Perry.
As were his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of Mr. Perry's life at a later date.
