Charles Phillip Michaeli Charles Phillip Michaeli, 60, of Alpena, MI passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on November 18, 2007 following a short illness. He was born on July 30, 1947 to Dales and Rose (Babe) Michaeli in Mt Clemens, MI. He married the former Jody Harrington on March 17, 1982 in Alpena. He has lived in Alpena since 2001 formerly of Trenton, MI, but grew up in the Hillman area, graduating from Hillman High School. Charles served his country during Vietnam in the US Army. He retired from Great Lakes Steel in Ecorse, MI after 30 yrs. He was recently working at Alpena Regional Medical Center as a security guard. He was a member of the VFW Post 2356 in Hillman. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a devoted Northwestern University Fan. Above all else, he loved his family and grandchildren. Charles is survived by his wife, Jody, of Alpena; three sons, Phillip (Grace) of Belleville, MI, Joseph (Jennifer) of Ypsilanti, MI, and Matt (Amy) of New Smyrna Beach, FL; two daughters, Janelle Freese of Hubbard Lake, MI, and Janeen (John) Golovich of Brownstown, MI; 11 grandchildren; brother, Bill (Rita) Michaeli of Edwards, CO; three sisters, Joann (Ricky) Williamson of Alpena, Phyllis (Jim) Rose of Lachine, MI, and Suzanne (William) Gilkey of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Charles Michaeli; mother, Rose Marie Bronikowski; and step father, Alex Bronikowski. Funeral services for Mr Michaeli will be on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI, Pastor Dan Slater officiating. Interment will take place at Hillman/Rust Twp Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday from 3-9 p.m. at the funeral home
