Mr. Charles Walter Lemanski, 90 of Lewiston, Michigan died on August 22, 2023 at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord. He was born in Lincoln Park, Michigan on October 16, 1932 to the late William and Louise (Rheiklin) Lemanski. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. Charles has resided with Sandra in Lewiston for the last 25 years. He was a UAW retiree, a member of the American Legion Post 198, and a member of the Lewiston Fun Ones. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a handyman. He is and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Lemanski of Lewiston; children, Shirley Akey of Powder Springs, Georgia; Charles E. (Kathleen) Lemanski of Dearborn Heights; grandchildren, Keith (Erin), Megan, Emma; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Sydney, and K.C.; sister, Margaret Albreight of Lincoln Park; and brother-in-law, Glenn (Nancy) Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise Lemanski; brother, William; and sister, Marie.

There will be a gathering of remembrance held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. On Monday, August 28, 2023 there will be a visitation service held for Mr. Lemanski at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home, Dearborn from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM until time of service at noon. Interment will follow services at Michigan Memorial Cemetery where Charles will be laid to rest. There will be a luncheon following the burial at Rhapsody Hungarian Restaurant.
