Charles Lee

Charles Thurlow Lee Mr. Charles Thurlow Lee, 68 of Atlanta, Michigan died suddenly on the afternoon of April 14, 2016 at his home. He was born in Adrian, Michigan on January 22, 1948 the son of the late, Charles and Twila Jeannette (Pentecost) Lee. He was a proud veteran and served his country proudly in the United States Army during Vietnam. He married his wife, Sharon Rickard on July 13, 1968 in Manitou Beach and together the couple celebrated 47 years of marriage before his passing. Charles moved to Atlanta in 1988, formerly from Addison, Michigan. He was the owner and operator of Lee Brother's Construction for many years and ran Rush Lake Resort and Elk Capital Real Estate in Atlanta. He enjoyed watching his kids and grandchildren play sports, time at his cabin, and fishing. Most important to him were his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lee of Atlanta; daughters, Jennifer Lee of Cheboygan; Amy Moir of Cheboygan; Annie (Jerrod) Jenkins of Blackstone, Virginia; Julie Lee of Geneva, Illinois; grandchildren, Jensen, Kalen, Kenna, Kyler, Brad, and Mabel; brothers, Gordon Lee of Florida; Raymond (Linda) Lee of Osseo; sisters, Jeannette (Howard) Rynearson of Florida; Maryanne Szczurek of Florida; Pam Watson of Britton; and best friend and cousin, Arthur (Joan) Wheeler of Morenci. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Twila Lee. As were his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service for Mr Lee later this summer downstate.
Charles moved to Atlanta in 1988, formerly from Addison, Michigan.
