Charles Fisher

Charles William Fisher Charles William Fisher, 79 of Hillman, Michigan passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at MediLodge of Hillman. He was born in Hillman to the late, Charles and Helen (Hunt) Fisher on March 11, 1937. He served his country proudly in the United States Army serving during the Cuban crisis. Charles married his wife, Darlene (Delmotte) Fisher in West Branch in 1965. He lived in Hillman most of his life and worked at Universal Products in Alpena. He then went on to own and operate Fisher Excavating in Hillman before driving truck for Clawson Concrete in Ann Arbor. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed to make cut glass crafts. Most importantly, he loved his family and the time spent with them. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Fisher of Hillman; daughters, Janelle Fisher of Hillman; Danielle (Terry) Sands of Hudsonville; two grandchildren, Connor and Maya of Hudsonville; and brother, A. Bruce (Sharon) Fisher of Flint. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Fisher; and sister, Barbara Keetch. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held for Mr. Fisher. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a luncheon to celebrate Charles' life at the Hillman Free Methodist Church on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 1:00PM.
