Charles Brown

Charles William Brown Mr. Charles William Brown, 90, of Atlanta, Michigan died on December 22, 2017 at his home. He was born in Charlton Township, Michigan on July 5, 1927 to the late, Thaddeus and Edna (Fales) Brown. Formerly of Johannesburg, he resided in Atlanta most of his life and was a member of the Atlanta Eagles. Charles worked as an equipment operator at various lumber companies and loved to cut wood and sold it for 25+ years in Atlanta. When not working, Charles enjoyed fishing and hunting and time spent with family. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Krumbach of Atlanta; sons, Christopher Brown of Port Huron; Glen Brown of Atlanta; grandchildren, David, Joel, and Pauline; brothers, Norman Brown of Manton; Leslie (Jackie) Brown of Elmira; Gordon (Betty) Brown of Johannesburg; sisters, Dorothy (Russ) Phillips of Mt. Morris; Hazel (Charles) Thomas of Johannesburg; Gladys Spigelmyre of Alpena; and sister-in-law, Doris Brown of Clio. He was preceded in by his parents, Thaddeus and Edna Brown; brothers, John, Clarence, and Ed; and sisters, Polly Phillips and Ethel Morrison. Funeral services for Mr. Brown will take place at 1:00PM on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Green Funeral Home; Atlanta; Pastor Donna Galloway officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00AM until time of service. Interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery; Johannesburg in the Spring.
