Cecil Ray Favel Mr. Cecil Ray Favel, 79 of Hillman, Michigan passed away on October 12, 2014 at his home. He was born in Briley Township, the son of the late, William and Annie (DeFeyter) Favel on November 25, 1934. He married wife, Ella (Walworth) Favel on September 3, 1954 in Byron, Michigan. Cecil moved to Hillman in 1983, formerly of Clio. He retired from General Motors Fisher Body Plant in Grand Blanc after 30 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta and enjoyed ice fishing and hunting, as well as tinkering around in his garage. Above everything, Cecil enjoyed his time with family and friends and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ella Favel of Hillman; sons, Bill (Mary) Favel of Gaylord; Rev. Arnold (Leslie) Favel of Hillman; Woody Favel of Gaylord; Andy Favel of Clio; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Lee Roy Favel; sisters, Mildred Howe; Viola Church; Leona VanValkenburg; brothers, Roy Favel; Lloyd Favel; and Floyd Favel. Funeral services for Mr. Favel will take place at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Green Funeral Home; Atlanta, Michigan; Revered Tim Collins officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until time of service.
