Carolyn Marie Journeau Carolyn Marie Journeau, 53, of Atlanta, passed away on November 29, 2008 at her residence. She was born on January 27, 1955 to Donald and Eleanor (Tycuvski) Zielinski in Dearborn, MI. Carolyn has lived permanently in Atlanta since 1992, having speant a lot of time here throughout her life. She worked at Atlanta High School for 7 yrs and was an advisor for the Class of 2005. She volunteered for school activities with her children, for the Band Boosters in Atlanta, and with the 4H Pageants at the Montmorency County Fair. She was a member of the NRA. Carolyn enjoyed trips to the Casinos as well. Carolyn is survived by her son, Jason of Rochester, MI; daughters, Shannon Journeau of Gillette, WY, and Kathryn (Glenn) Parker of Ossineke, MI; father of her children, Bill Journeau of Atlanta, MI; step son, Bill Journeau of Lake Orion, MI; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Don Zielinski, Vice (Linda) Leleniewski, Cooper (Michelle) Leleniewski, and Mike (Judy) Leleniewski, and sisters, Tisha Henry, Jackie (Ray) Clenny, and Phine Leleniewski, all of Westland, MI; numerous nieces, nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the Spring. The family has suggested that memorials in Carol's honor be sent to the Baby Basket in Atlanta.
