Carol Wilson

Carol E. Wilson Carol Elaine Wilson, 95, of Atlanta, passed away on January 22, 2008 at AuSable Valley Home in Fairview. She was born on January 18, 1913 to John and Bernice (Hyler) Davis in Bay City, MI. As a child her mother remarried and she was lovingly raised by her mother and step father, William Zenker. She has lived in Atlanta for over 50 yrs. She loved crafts, either sewing, crocheting, or quilting; or attending craft shows. She truly enjoyed fishing, especially trips up to Canada. She liked dancing. Above all else came her family. Carol is survived by her daughters, Barbara Zenker and Luanne (Robert) Berryhill, both of Atlanta, MI, and Patricia Reynolds of Lennon, MI; 30 grandhcildren; 53 great grandchildren with two on the way; 33 great great grandchildren with two on the way as well; step children, Sandra Anderson of Swartz Creek, MI, Larry (Darleen) Wilson of Atlanta, MI, and Tom (Jennifer) Wilson of West Bloomfield, MI; and her cat, "Tiny". She was preceded in death by her husband, Colen; daughters, Marilyn Cameron and Leota Olney, son, Larry Zenker, step son, Dennis Wilson; and special friend, Sylvia Wilson-Michalski. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI at 11:00 AM, Pastor Clarence Pease officiating. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to both the staff at AuSable Valley Home and Heartland Hospice for all of their help and caring. Memorials have been suggested to the family for a permanent memorial for Mrs Wilson.
