Carol Jane Tebo Mrs. Carol Jane Tebo, 53, of Hillman, MI, passed away on October 19, 2013 at Medilodge Nursing Home in Hillman. She was born on March 2, 1960 to Ralph and Amy Banks in Alpena, MI. She lived most of her life in the Hillman area. Carol was strong in her Christian faith. She enjoyed arts and crafts, she was always making things. She also enjoyed to draw and collect, especially clothes and purses. She always liked to make Christmas cookies and candies for family and friends. Above all else, she loved being a Nana to her grandchildren. Carol is survived by her daughter, Samantha (Nathan) Stevens of Lachine, MI; sons, Chuck Banks of Wyoming, and Mileaway (Kathryn) Southerland of Hillman; grandchildren, Cagney, Bubba, Savanah, Kelli, Eric, Piper, and Emma; brothers, Tim, Keith, and Ralph Banks, all of Hillman; sisters, Susan (Mark) Brainard of Adrian, MI, and Yvonne Kellogg of Hillman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; her parents, Ralph and Amy; and six brothers and sisters. Funeral services for Mrs. Tebo will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, Michigan, Pastor Dave Hill officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00AM until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made me made to the Tebo family.
