Carl E. Pratt Carl E. Pratt, 71, of Waters, MI, formerly of St Helen, MI, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 12, 2009 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on July 28, 1937 in Flint, MI, to George and Theresa (Toler) Pratt. He married George Ann on November 11, 1978 in Flint, MI. He was an avid lover of the outdoors and a passionate trout fisherman and deer hunter. He will always be remembered by friends and family alike for his love of cooking in his earlier years when his health did not impair him. He worked for Buick before retiring from Flint Manufacturing where he was a press operator for over 23 yrs. Carl is survived by his wife, George Ann of Waters, MI; children, Sarah Ross of Merrill, MI,. Carl "Poncho" Pratt of Flint, MI, Daniel (Renee) Pratt of Owosso, MI, Victor (Theresa) Pratt of Tennessee, Sean (Lindi) McClure of Temperance, MI, Joel (Kristen) McClure of Meredith, MI, and Holly (Joel) Holm of Roscommon, MI; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Willis Gene (Carol) Pratt of Flint, MI, and George Oliver Pratt of St Helen, MI; and sisters, Diane Kenney of Birch Run , MI, and Bertha (Eldon) Bellows of Davison, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Theresa; grandson Jason Allen Pratt; great grandchild, Tia Marie Costello; sister, Glennis Maria Cassidy; and uncle Daniel Pratt. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial for Mr Pratt will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home. Memorials have been suggested to Hospice of Michigan, Gaylord, where the family would like to extend heart felt thanks for all of the help and caring received from them for Carl.
