Carl Devries

Carl C. DeVries Carl Clifford DeVries, 77, of Lewiston, passed away on April 12, 2010 at his residence. He was born on August 3, 1932 to Leon and Helen DeVries in Zeeland, MI. He married the former Joan Martzke on June 6, 1953 in East Lansing, MI. He lived in Lewiston from 1986-1998 then moved south to Aripeka, FL, returning to Lewiston in 2007. He enjoyed both hunting and fishing, and was an avid golfer. Above all else, Carl loved to be with his family. Carl is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Clifford DeVries of Holly, MI, and Deb (Doug) Deline and Rocky DeVries both of Lewiston; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Charlotte (Dick) Elzerman and Arlene Keely, both of Florida. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a family memorial service for Mr Devries will be held at a later date.
